My personal journey to learn more about the world around me. Some comes from my personal experiences, some from things I have read, and some from courses I have taught or taken over the years. Like the sun rising in the east, learning lightens my mind, enlightens my soul, and brightens my life!

Grandma's Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
A few years ago, when we were moving to Utah, we stayed with my niece, Sonja, and her wonderful family while we looked for a house. Sonja is a wonderful cook, and a joy to be around. While we were there, cold season came around, & Sonja made this yummy soup for me. Note her addition at the bottom of the recipe!

Maggie's Lazaggie
When I was 18 years old, I got a job cooking for a fraternity at Arizona State University - best job ever - 63 guys loved ME! While I was there, I picked up a few recipes. Over time, as I read more, tested ideas, fed my family, and got busy, I adjusted those recipes to fit us. Maggie's Lazaggie is a great example of the morph that many of my recipes have gone through! The result is fast, easy, and delicious!
